Paris does not need any introduction, as it is the dream destination of millions of people.  One of the most visited cities (30 million visitors per year) of the world, Paris is also known as city of fashion. Paris is the city of art, inspiration and love. Paris has many nicknames, among of them “La Ville-Lumiere” or “The city of Light” is more famous.  Paris is the most populated city and capital of France.

Healthcare: In Paris healthcare and emergency medical facilities are provided by the Assistance publique –Hospitaux de Paris, a public hospital system which includes 44 hospitals. It is the largest hospital system in Europe.

Climate: In Paris the overall climate throughout the year is mild and moderately wet. February is the cool time period to visit Paris. Temperature is 4C -5.5C during February, as this month is the midst of winter season.

Time Zone:  Paris is in Central European Time Zone (CET), which is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1).

Currency: The official currency of France is Euro (€). Money can be changed in International airports, exchange bureaus, post office, major banks and main railway stations. Major credit cards are accepted in many restaurants and shopping mall.

Transportation: In Paris there are two International airports namely; Paris-Charles de Gaulle &Paris –Orly. Visitors can book public transport, which is easily available.  This city has also major rails, highway etc.
